Salobreña offers one of the most characteristic images of Spanish Mediterranean coast. It has been described as the Jewel of the Tropical Coast due to the expansive white pueblo over the Gran Peñón (large rock) and the amazing profile of its Spanish-Moorish fortress between the valley and the sea. 'El Penon' is the best part of the beach here and has easy access to the promenade with shops/restaurants/cafes & bars. Approximately 1 hour drive from our villa.

our nearby beach town. spend the morning checking out the white village and ancient castle and then head to the beach for tapas.

Its local and very interesting, steeped in history and in a very pretty area of Salobrena old town. Local bus from town takes you almost to the door.
