The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Staying in a Yurt is pure relaxation! Mull Yurts is on a working croft on the stunning Isle of Mull. Amazing views, lovely walks, incredible sandy beaches to find and explore. Boat trips head off daily to the Puffin isles of Staffa and Lunga. One of Scotland's top tourist attractions - the Isle of Iona and its Abbey is a few miles away. The Yurt is cosy and wood burner warm. Lovely for a couples getaway or a family space surrounded by fields to play in and wild places to explore.

20' woodland yurt in Highland glen

Set in our small mixed woodland at West Cottage and Stables in in picturesque Glenlyon, our 20ft yurt offers the privacy of a forest setting, two fire pits (one under cover), a wood burning range cooker with an oven, and a double bed . The yurt is lined with wool, and there's a pull out twin bed and an electric coolbox, kettle and toaster. There's cold water in the yurt and a full bathroom a short walk up to our house. There's also your own loo right by the yurt.

Puffin Yurt - Traditional Mongolian Yurt

Puffin Yurt is situated on the Island of Ulva, in a secluded plot next to Ardalum House, in an exceptionally peaceful location alongside Ulva Sound, with views of Loch Tuath in one direction and in the other, Ben Mor, the highest mountain on Mull. Ulva is rich with lush woodlands, and there are extensive moorlands to the west, with otters, red deer, seals and eagles. The geology and archeology are renowned, with walks to basalt cliffs and the Livingstone caves.

Ruth's Yurt

Come and stay in my lovely yurt. It's in a gorgeous spot with a sea view, and is a beautiful, cosy space. Many people have stayed in it and had a great time, enjoying the peace and quiet and the natural world around it. We live near the coastal village of Auchencairn, on a smallholding. There is a good choice of nice coastal or hill walks nearby, the area is good for lots of outdoor activities. Licence: DG00777F

The Yurt is situated in Balvalachlan, Callander, in the heart of Loch lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Balvalachlan is a family run site with lots of activities to enjoy include table tennis, football, putting and giant chess.
