Casa Voz del Mar (Voice of the Sea) quite literally, lives up to it’s name. Under the beautiful, shaded palapa or the sunny lower deck, you will feel immersed in the sounds of the sea. The home boasts stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from every room and is located in the private and safe community called Punta el Custodio on the Riviera Nayarit. Voz del Mar is for guests who want an easy going vacation with emphasis on comfort without extravagance, which makes it perfect for family, friend or surf groups who just want a place to kick back and relax. The entrance is surrounded by jungle foliage which welcomes you into a central open-plan kitchen and lounge space. Unique to some other homes, the lounge space can be fully enclosed if desired. However, Voz del Mar is really about outdoor living. The gorgeous terrace with traditional palapa roof is where you will live your vacation. You’ll enjoy meals prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, which boasts ample work surfaces and a breakfast bar. An all-inclusive meal planallows you to enjoy your vacation while your meals are prepared by our trusted and caring housekeeper/chef Vicky, who speaks fluent English. The palapa covered patio leads out to the private pool on one side as well as a 1000 square feet of lower sun terrace with loungers on the other. The view of the ocean from these outdoor living areas is incomparable. Watch whales and dolphins pass by but also enjoy the privacy awarded by the prime location within the community. Each bedroom has an ocean view, sounds of the waves crashing below and premium bedding, perfect for wonderful rest. Two bedrooms are within the main house with the third bedroom (casita) situated priavtely at the lower terrace level. The accommodations sleeps six guests comfortably. Each bedroom features fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the bedrooms cool during the heat of summer. Relax on one of our lounge chairs with a good book and a freshly prepared juice. Enjoy the sound of the Pacific breeze rustling through tropical plants and hummingbirds flitting happily around. Then cool off in our private infinity pool, watching the waves crash against the cliffs. Another favorite game is to watch how closely the pelicans fly, why are they always going north in the morning but south in the afternoon? The patio is furnished with a dining table and chairs that seat 8 guests comfortably. Perfect for watching the dramatic sunset with an aperitif, followed by dinner under the stars. Casa Don Juan

CASA DON JUAN This beautiful villa sits amid trees and gardens on the highest point of Punta El Custodio. Built in a modern style that reflects the old hacienda, it has been described as “barefoot elegant” by its architect. From its living/dining/kitchen great room, its lush gardens and the sea can be enjoyed in all directions as the ground floor is colonnaded and open to the air. Its owners consider Casa Don Juan their second home and have decorated it with interesting Mexican artifacts and paintings. It also has a large library, perhaps the largest around. The four bedrooms are private, each with a full bathroom and charming views. The two upstairs bedrooms have their private terraces and there are many patios where you can find sun, shade and peace amid our beautiful and exotic botanical garden. The interior courtyard garden has, at its center, a dipping pool, which, set amid the rocks and lush foliage, resembles a clear spring. (We don’t heat it, so it is a little nippy in winter, although very refreshing in the hot summers.) Casa Don Juan provides internet at 3G and decent telephone service to Mexico, the United states and Canada (check your provider plan). If you purchase the meal plan, our housekeeper, Yesenia, will prepare your meals to perfection. If you choose to bring your own, she will assist you as much as you wish. She is flexible and will suit your tastes and preferences. She is happy to cook vegan and vegetarian dishes. If you wish to provide your own food and to prepare it, there is a fully equipped kitchen and most condiments. Of course, Yesenia will help as much as you wish; her breakfasts and the limitless fresh orange juice are legendary There is a simple charcoal grill as well. Casa Don Juan has a full laundry; we only ask that you allow Yesenia to do the washing that you require. On a small peninsula overlooking the Pacific Ocean, you’ll find Casa Don Juan, a quintessential Mexican villa. The design and architecture of this villa pay homage to Old Mexico, with an elegant mingling of rustic beauty and modern aesthetics. With four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 adults and 2 minors, the villa is large enough to accommodate large families with ease. While the lush vegetation and A/C’s will keep the bedrooms cool, the kids can cool off in the private pool too.

Villa Exotica se encuentra en una pequeña comunidad privada cerrada de Punta Custodio en la ciudad de Platanitos. Punta Custodio tiene solo 14 casas y comparte una piscina recientemente renovada con vistas al océano. Platanitos está a un corto paseo y consta de restaurantes frente a la playa especializados en mariscos mexicanos, no es una ciudad residencial, por lo que Villa Exotica es exclusiva y remota sin estar aislada. Nuestra casa es más cómoda con cuatro adultos y 2 de niños.

La casa se encuentra en una calle tranquila a unos 10 minutos a pie de Matanchen Beach, una de las playas más largas y de arena de la zona. La piscina con vistas al mar es privada, al igual que toda la casa. Aticama es el pequeño pueblo pesquero donde se encuentra la casa, y las tiendas y restaurantes están a pocos pasos. Se recomienda un auto, ya que tendrás más movilidad durante tu estadía.
