Great place to walk your dogs. Cool walking docks with spectacular views of Shallowbag Bay. Early morning sunrises are some of the best on the banks and very few people! Take the tour of the Elizabeth II and the recreated village of our nations first colony.

Take a free ferry ride to one of Blackbeard’s hideouts! Cool Island full of history and charm. Make sure to take a walk to Springer’s point where Blackbeard was beheaded by the British Royal Navy. Smack Nally’s is a cool open air local’s hangout nestled on Silver Lake.

If you have a 4x4 vehicle this is a trip worth taking! When the wind is blowing from the south the wild horses are found roaming the northern beaches of Corolla and Corova. What a beautiful site to see!
