The apartment is a few minutes walk from Piazza S.Marco and near the famous theatre La Fenice, in an ideal position to discover the most famous but also the most fascinating and less popular places of marvellous Venice. It has been recently restored under the expert coordination of the owner Luisa, keeping the romantic Venetian character and atmosphere of the past unaltered: it has the entrance on the fourth and last floor and it overlooks three sides of the palace. The living room has a remarkable view over the wide campo S. Maurizio where a periodic and characteristic antiques market takes place; from the living room you can admire important gothic buildings and the homonymous neoclassic church built by the Venetian architect Gianantonio Selva with its majestic bell tower. The double room, with its original antique ceiling made of wooden trusses and an antique fireplace between two windows is furnished in a typical Venetian style and has a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The bathroom with shower is made in a precious three-colour glass mosaic and has washing machine and hair dryer. The elegant and cosy kitchen - fully equipped with dishwasher, microware oven, toaster, kettle, coffeemaker - gives access to the upstairs loft where you can read or rest in a small reserved area. Moreover, a fine terrace offering a breathtaking view over the roofs and a glimpse of the Grand Canal - situated just 100 m from the flat - completes the space and creates the perfect place for relaxing or romantic dinners under the stars. The apt is on the 5th floor, in result of which there is plenty of light. The bed linen and towels are provided. Comfortable and cozy apartment in Fondamenta delle Romite, close to Accademia and Zattere. Very quiet neighborhood, but, at the same time, close to everywhere. Piazza San Marco is 15 minutes, Piazzale Roma 10 minutes, Train Station 15 minutes walk. All water bus lines, various shops, small restaurants, venetian osterie, fish market, supermarkets, cafes, very nice enoteca wine and finger food, and ice cream at few minutes walk. The atmosphere of the apartment like an artist loft with large windows, high ceilings, wooden floors. The rooms: a small entrance hall, a spacious double bedroom, a comfortable living-reading room, a bright equipped kitchen with an old marble dining table, a bathroom with shower. The windows overlooking our home green garden, where we cultivate grape, lemon, aromatics, red pepper, plants and flowers, high trees. A pochi passi da Campo Santa Margherita, Accademia e Zattere è in una posizione centrale ma anche molto tranquilla. A pochi passi dalla fermata di Cà Rezzonico.

L'appartamento è piccolo ma molto accogliente, il rifugio ideale dopo lunghe giornate su e giù per i ponti. Si tratta di un VERO BNB: non siamo dei professionisti del settore. Io faccio l'insegnante e mio marito fa il cuoco. Aiutiamo la nonna a far quadrare i conti del suo pied-à-terre dove spesso si trasferisce per brevi periodi per starci vicino e soprattutto, per star vicina al suo coccolatissimo nipote. Nonostante ciò, ci impegnamo per dare il massimo confort ai nostri ospiti.

CASA ALICE Casa Alice, named after our daughter Alice Bianca, is a wonderful two-bedroom apartment near Zattere and the Giudecca Canal. You can feel like a Venetian and spend a few days in a quiet neighborhood, yet be minutes from some of our favorite spots in Venice. The bright, third floor apartment has two bathrooms and plenty of closet space, as well as a full kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, a Nespresso coffee maker and a selection of our favorite teas.
