CHARMING and so COZY 2nd floor apartment in Centre Park Historic District of Reading..FEATURED on the Centre Park Historic Tour. A special place complete with full kitchen, bedroom with large bay windows, tub/shower bathroom, living room with ornate 12 foot ceilings, a view of Civil War Monument from bedroom windows. Wonderful location for culture...Goggleworks Center, a community art center with a movie theatre a half a mile away and Santander Arena less than a mile away. Ample free parking.

Wonderful Suite

This great room is part of my house that is featuring a private entrance, private bathroom, and a kitchenette but not a full kitchen. It is also an old house but well maintained in the neighborhood but not suitable for children. This vibrant architecture with brick, large porch, large windows, and a sense of the 18th century beauty. It’s also located between an highway and a main road, meaning cars noises are present. Please only book if you feel comfortable with the location, a car is ideal.

The treehouse is centrally located on the 66-acre property. It is near the bathroom, hot tub, duck pond, and our flock of chickens. It has 3 large screened windows and a sliding door. Enjoy your coffee and favorite adult beverage during golden hour on the wrap-around deck. The treehouse measures 8'x8' plus a 5'x8' loft for a total of 104 square feet of living area. You'll love the sunsets, and being immersed in nature. Bird and deer watching! Fall foliage and cozy fires! Goat and cow snuggles!

Our cozy, comfortable and spacious apartment is only minutes away from fine dining, shopping and antiques. Also, an easy drive to many tourist areas including Amish Country, French Creek and Philadelphia. Center city Reading and the affordable Santander venues are less than 10 minutes away by car. The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.
