더케이프는 화진 해수욕장이 길게 늘어진 끝쪽 나지막한 모래언덕에 자리잡고 있는 휴양시설로, 8개의 객실과 Cafe, 언덕과 방파제를 따라 조성된 산책로와 해수욕장, 자연공원으로 이루어져 있습니다 모든 객실은 각각의 공간이 자리잡고 있는 지형적 특징을 고려하여 드넓은 바다, 하늘, 일출, 자연을 전망하실 수 있도록 디자인되었습니다 The cape는 2012년 포항 건축문화상 수상작입니다. 해로[海 : 바다 해, 路 : 길 로] [偕 : 함께 해, 老 : 늙을 로] 손을 뻗으면 바다와 등대가 닿을 듯 위치하여 바다로 이어진 길(海路)이라고 이름지었습니다. 또한 여기 머무시는 분들의 백년해로(百年偕老)를 기원하는 함축적인 뜻을 지니고 있습니다. 설명 – One Room형 Unit으로 2인 가족 기준으로 설계되었습니다. 소나무와 어우러진 바다의 멋진 전망을 즐기실 수 있습니다.
