No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

Casa acogedora con terracita en la zona central de Trivigno, pequeño pueblo a pocos Km de Castelmezzano y Pietrapertosa y a una hora en coche de Matera. La casa consta de dos plantas: en la planta baja está la cocina y arriba hay un dormitorio con cama doble, el salón y el cuarto de baño. Es posible participar a clases de Yoga, a talleres de cestería y gastronómicos. En verano se regalan las verduras biológicas del huerto familiar. Se puede aparcar gratuitamente.

This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
