Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.

Enjoy fireplaces and hot tub in winter, waterfall and outdoor shower in summer. Upstairs queen ensuite with bathroom and soaking tub; downstairs retro kitchen, living room, and full bath with shower. Lodge offers comfy seating, farm table, and big-screen TV. High-speed internet, Prime & Spectrum TV.

Inside this newly built house, you will find brand new furnishings and newly updated features to make your stay comfortable. Just a quick five minute drive to Great Barrington, home to some of the best restaurants that the Berkshires have to offer.

Our warm and welcoming little house has been designed and outfitted to be highly accommodating and comfortable. Our country living location is private but also super convenient: just a mile from Butternut Basin Ski Resort; walking distance to the Appalachian Trail; an easy 5 minute drive to Main Street Great Barrington; and shopping for staples is likewise close by.

Private En Suite in Beautiful Victorian

The room is light and airy with morning sun and the shade of the large front porch in the afternoon. This is a place to enjoy a meal or just lounge and relax with a view of the gardens and surrounding woods. This space features a private entrance, a kitchenette and full bathroom and very comfortable queen bed. In mid July 2024 we added air conditioning.

Relax and enjoy the Berkshires at this peaceful place to stay in the beautiful Berkshires of western Massachusetts. GreenHouse is the guest cottage for the historic Hyde House which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Located within walking distance of Lee, Ma, the house is also conveniently located near Stockbridge and Lenox.
