Tui Cottage - Self-contained and cosy chalet.

Tui Cottage is a cosy and private haven, with queen-sized bed & bathroom, totally separate from the main house. Tui bird song greets the day. You may be visited by Punkie, my tortoise shell quirky-tailed cat. Glimpse lake views between the trees. Tui Cottage is a non-smoking property. 5 mins walk to a local shopping centre & approximately 5 mins drive to the lakefront. Taupo is a most scenic place with many activities available & numerous tourist attractions to explore. #LOVETAUPO

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Enjoy a peaceful private apartment (main bedroom, ensuite & kitchenette). 2nd bedroom available which sleeps 3 (internal staircase to our private residence between bedrooms). Surrounded by farmland on the main tourist route between Waitomo/Hobbiton/Rotorua/Karapiro/Cambridge. We live downstairs with our 3 children, cat & dog. You are welcome to use our swimming pool, spa (hot tub), tennis court & BBQ area (with fire pit). Perfect accommodation for singles, couples or families!

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.
