Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Rosemary Cabin at Bluff Mountain Nursery. Nestled at the top of the hill in the heart of our plant nursery, you’ll be sure to be surrounded by beauty and nature a like. Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Creekside cottage

Charming creekside loft cottage. Perfect retreat for a romantic getaway or an adventure motorcycle ride in the beautiful scenery of pisgah national forest. Minutes away from max patch on the Appalachian trail and 30 mins from downtown Hotsprings. Relax listening to the beautiful sound of Meadowfork creek. Nestled feet away from the creek on what once was an 18 acre tobacco farm. Private bathhouse with shower/bathtub and toilet. Private fire pit, charcoal barbecue grill, picnic table, porch.

Starshine Cottage: Renovated Vintage Farmhouse

Visit our colorful farmhouse cottage that looks out on Flat Creek and vintage barns just 11 miles to downtown Asheville. Access the house via charming foot bridge and short uphill walk (see photos) and relax on the deck, enjoying the views of the creek valley from your hammock swing. Renovated cottage has AC and all of the modern amenities alongside retro touches.10 minutes to downtown Weaverville, 18 minutes to downtown Asheville, 15 minutes to Marshall and 30 minutes to Hot Springs.

The Bird House

I created a passive solar tiny house, with tons of south facing windows & beautiful mountain views. It's located just 4 miles from downtown Marshall & it is about 20-25 mins. from both Asheville & Hot Springs. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby which include horseback riding, rafting/paddling on the French Broad River, zip-lining, hiking (we have more details in the host guidebook). Come enjoy a nice peaceful stay in this modern tiny home surrounded by greenery.

Start your day with a beautiful sunrise over the river- breathing fresh mountain air and listening to the river roar. You have access to our quaint farm, so spend your morning hiking, fishing, and meeting the animals! With just a quick drive, you can adventure to surrounding towns to experience the culture of WNC before returning to your private, peaceful sanctuary. Wind down for the evening with Biltmore wine or some local craft brews. Fully stocked for pups, too!

River Relaxation

Our cabin is in the woods just up the hill from the river. The river is great for wading and fishing. There is also picnic areas at the river with chairs, tables, fire pits, and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. This property has a main house. The parking area and the cabin are on the lower level of the house. There is a sidewalk that goes past the house to the cabin. The cabin has it's own private area with a side yard, outdoor furniture and a firepit.

Downtown Weaverville Cottage

Renovated downtown Weaverville Cottage located ONE block from bakery, coffee shops, library and restaurants! Stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, subway tile shower and bamboo floors are just a few finishing touches in this unique space. This quaint and cozy home is rustic, romantic and private with its own fenced in front yard separate from the main house. This space is ideal for singles or couples traveling for a long weekend.
