Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. You will immediately feel relaxed as you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

Farm stay, in beautiful rural Monmouthshire

We are a working dairy goat farm, milking 600 goats twice a day. Our milk goes into a delicious soft goats cheese, which is made in the neighbouring town of Abergavenny and sold through many of the large supermarkets. We are ideally situated for cycling and walking, with many footpaths nearby, including Offa's Dyke and a fabulous range of mountains. We are within 2 miles of the renowned Michelin star Walnut Tree Inn and there are many other wonderful country pubs in the locality.
