Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, Smart TV, bose speaker, sun deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Sit on your private deck and listen for the native Tui that love the large "strawberry" trees, and watch the playful Piwakawaka (fantail) flitting from tree to tree. Enjoy a short walk to the beautiful clear waters of the lake, or the popular local bar/restaurant for some refreshments. There is a local (free) tennis court for a game of tennis or pickleball (racquets and paddles available on request)

Take a 5min stroll to our popular bar/restaurant or grab a takeaway and finish the evening with a soak in the hot pool.

This holiday house consists of 4 bedrooms, 1 living room with new aircon, 1 family room with powerful aircon and fireplace, 3 bathrooms including a masters en suite with balconies, the bedrooms are facing towards the lake, you will wake up to the amazing view of the lake. New concrete car park and another car port with shed, plenty of car parking for boat, van and trailers in front of the house.

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

We would love to welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects and is renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)
