Keene is a major destination for hikers, climbers, skiers, anglers, artists and other adventurous and creative types. Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

This cozy studio style cottage sleeps 2 guests. It has a queen bed and a full bath w/ shower. Two Stressless leather reclining chairs with ottoman’s & side table for your comfort. Bali cellular room darkening shades on windows. There is a washing machine & outdoor clothes line for drying. *Detergent is NOT provided* We are dog friendly --NO additional fee. (NO CATS ALLOWED). Propane gas grill w/utensils. Propane is provided. TV Steaming provided (Hulu live, Prime, Netflix and Apple TV).

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Your family and friends will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located apartment in the heart of the Adirondacks High Peaks Region. Located above the famous Noon Mark Diner and within walking distance to food and shopping. This king-sized 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment features a guest loft with two full-size beds, a partial kitchen with mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave and toaster (no stovetop or oven), and a large living room with TV and wifi.

SilverBear Cabin, 15 min from Whiteface &ski jumps

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors! A great year round rental :)

Adirondack Mountain Yurt farmstay- Summertime!

Our 30' yurt is tucked into the pines overlooking our pasture with mountain views out across the valley. Located in the Jay, it's a perfect base camp for summer hikes, bikes or paddles in the Adirondacks. Sheep and chickens graze the pastures Grab some farm meats for the grill after a big day in the mountains and enjoy a meal in our new outdoor kitchen space after a hot rinse in the outdoor shower. This charming cabin hides in thirteen private wooded acres. Gorgeous views include a babbling brook, small pond, and delightful woodland paths. The cabin boasts hardwood floors, a stunning fireplace, functional kitchen and bathroom spaces, safe drinking water, electricity, an outside deck and a screened porch with firepit. Short drives will bring you to Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, and Lake Champlain.

Bessie's Cabin showcases a gorgeous view of Baxter and Hurricane Mountains (among others). Its location provides both privacy and easy access to town. Local restaurants are a short drive or there is a full kitchen if you prefer to stay in and cook yourself. Wi-fi and local television provided should you tire of the view.
