Oceanfront with stunning views of Howe Sound/Coastal Mountains (above photo). Close to town, ferry, restaurants. A 10 minute walk through our forest leads to our swimmable beach. Suite is newly renovated with stone fireplace insert, queen bed, new sofa bed, keyless entrance and private deck (bedding and towels provided). Private suite inside of a 3 storey house located within 30min walking (some may find it challenging) distance of the Langdale Ferry Terminal. In the lovely town of Gibsons, it is only a 40 min ferry ride from West Vancouver. Along with fantastic views it offers many great features such as hot tub for your private use available from October 1 to June 30 only. We also have electric car charger available on-site. Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

Walking distance to the beach and many trails. 1km walk to the ocean or 3km along a quiet country road to the quaint village of Roberts Creek. A 10 minute drive to the seaside towns of Gibsons and Sechelt where there are many boutiques, cafes and restaurants. There are many great biking trails easily accessible.

I have a comfy 3 bedroom, 2-bathroom Main floor with a spectacular view of the local mountains. There is an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and large deck which is perfect for entertaining & BBQing. Would accommodate up to 8 adults easily. There are several public golf clubs close by along with wilderness hiking and cycling trails, loads of parks and recreation facilities, world renown Whistler Resort is a 2 hour 15 minutes drive.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
