A newly renovated 2 bed cottage with plenty of space for 4 in a delightful rural and peaceful location overlooking fields just 2 miles from historic Ross on Wye, the Wye Valley; Forest of Dean and other places of interest are all nearby. One pleasant and popular pub in walking distance. Many others nearby. Outdoor pursuits such as canoeing/ cycling/ mountain biking/ river walks all available nearby or relax on the patio with a bbq , or if a winter break curl up inside with our cosy woodburner.

The Annex at The Oaks

The Annex is a separate building on two floors. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a kingsize bed and a sofa bed available. We do provide extra laundry for the sofa bed at a cost of £15. Please let me know if you require the sofa bed making up. To access the bedroom are external stairs. Downstairs is a great open plan living space. There is private parking. Ross town is a mile away. PLEASE NOTE: the Annexe is next to a busy main road and traffic can be heard from the Annexe.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a very cosy property with two double bedrooms, one single and a bathroom with shower. It is in excellent modern condition with a large airy kitchen and living room. The pretty garden wraps around the cottage on three sides and two levels and runs down to a bubbling brook at its foot (the brook can not be easily accessed from the garden and should pose no danger to children)

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Within walking distance is a farm shop, and a little further two award winning pubs. Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and the Black Mountains are a short drive making us an ideal base to explore the wider area.
