Stunning villa, perched atop a mountain, surrounded completely by other mountains. An expansive deck was designed and furnished intentionally to allow for guests to enjoy the LONG RANGE VIEWS from various angles. This Frank Lloyd Wright inspired villa takes the "city vibe" into the woods, with large windows bringing in light and showcasing the beautiful natural setting. Interior features are open, uncluttered, and incredibly comfortable, with quality at the forefront of our minds in this space.

Tree Haven Treehouse at Raven Rock Mountain

Reconnect with nature in this off grid wild mountain setting. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive access only. AWD SUBARUS get up just fine! Steep gravel road. There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Queen size and twin size for the bunk beds. We provide Pillows and lightweight comforter for you. Weddings available for an EXTRA CHARGE. See below.

Located within the Village of Historic Flat Rock, Tanglewood is a rare gem of Flat Rock history. Nestled on four wooded acres it is an authentic yet modernized log home. Originally constructed in 1921, it is now beautifully restored with new wiring, modern room configuration, central heat and A/C, WiFi, a working fireplace, generator & all new appliances, lighting, furnishings and bedding. Peaceful and lovely. Within 45 minutes of 67 summer camps, 3.5 miles from downtown Hendersonville.

Our cabin offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a remote mountain feel in a convenient location. We are 30 mins from Downtown Asheville and 10 mins to Downtown Hendersonville and its bars, breweries, restaurants, and shopping. We are less than an hour drive to many beautiful Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest hikes. At the cabin we have a hot tub, outdoor dining, firepit, tv, board games, and books. Note: You will travel down a gravel road to reach the house.

Spend the evening relaxing on the front porch, or take an easy drive or Uber into downtown Hendersonville for a little more excitement. Delight in the flora and fauna that IS the North Carolina Mountains, and meet our white squirrels Teddy and Roxanne when they come out of their nests for their daily popcorn feeding.
