The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.

Our place is waterfront, close to parks and great views. The bay we're situated at is tidal, and there is a lovely boardwalk close by. You’ll love our place because of the views, the ambiance, and the location. Our place is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids older than 7 years). We have a Jack Russell dog and a cat.
