Tranquility Cove, Fun All Year!

Our slice of Heaven to share with you! Located on 864 acre Secord Lake. Northern Michigan’s finest. The current lake levels are low but still have a sandy area and great fishing. We provide some fun water items to still take advantage of the water. Some owners still use their boats at low speeds but it’ not recommended. Swimming and non motorized activities are enjoyable. We provide a paddle boat, kayaks and a few life jackets. Don’t forget Ice fishing. Trails near by for ATV lovers.

Take a step back in time and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Red Pine Cabin is secluded and set back 3 acres along the drive. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. Our vacation property escape is super comfortable. It includes all dishes, pans, utensils you'll need. This 2 bedroom sleeps 6 easily with a bunk room, comfortable new pull out bed in the living room sofa, and a master bedroom with full bed. Fully stocked w/10 cup coffeemaker. Air Conditioning in the primary bedroom and living room area. TV with Live TV and Internet. Washer and Dryer. Great area for ATVs and trails only blocks away!! The deck/porch is spacious, featuring chairs and lounges.

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Enjoy stunning views of Tittabawassee River! 3 bedrooms (1 king & 2 queen beds) and a set of bunk beds in the sunroom, sleeps 8. 2 full baths. Finished garage/game room, gazebo, fire pit and gas log fireplace. Close to 5 area wedding venues! Easy access off M-61 on a paved road. Currently we enjoy the natural flow of the Tittabawassee River but please note that there no good access point to get on/in the water. Restoration of the dam creating the lake is estimated to be complete in 2026.

Make some memories at this unique family-friendly centennial farm house in the heart of Amish country. We are centrally located between Clare, Gladwin, Harrison, and Beaverton. We are about 25 miles to the Soaring Eagle Casino and 30 to Central Michigan University. Enjoy our cozy one bedroom home that also features a sleeping, reading and rocking porch. No pets please, but you may be greeted by our farm dog Hank!
