Perfect little getaway for hunters and fishermen. Located on the Chowan River next to Game Lands in Hertford County, NC less than 50 miles from Suffolk VA. Secluded with access to a boat ramp. Good cell phone access but no Internet. TV gets local news and 10 other channels. Place is almost new, central air and heating. Has a king bed in one bedroom, a twin in the other. Couch is spacious enough to sleep one. comfortably

IBX Rural Getaway in 1908 Landmark

Quiet and beautiful historic rural village house in the center of Sunbury. Minutes from Merchant's Millpond state park as well as the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Just half hour to Elizabeth City, Suffolk, Edenton, 45`to Norfolk, Olde Towne Portsmouth and Virginia Beach and a little more to the OBX. If you need to work from home, our WiFi is 200 Mega and there's an office space inside the home.

Enjoy rural life on the homestead during your stay in our camper! You'll have the camper to yourself and plenty of space to stretch your legs. Meet our horse Lulu or sit out front with a cup of coffee and listen to the roosters crow. We currently have residential playground out back and slack line for outside activity/ play.
