It sits in a private forest full of wildlife but is only a 5-minute walk to Franklin Street and the UNC campus. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Quiet your mind and restore your body in the luxurious hot tub or warm up by the cozy fire-pit. Under 10 miles to Hillsborough or Durham, and their many restaurants, breweries and shops. Enjoy the privacy of two secluded wooded acres, surrounded by the sights and sounds of our farm, where we are growing fruits, veggies and mushrooms & caring for our animals and pastures.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
