Relax and enjoy incredible sunsets and bon fires while listening to the resident loons on a remote pond in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The property includes a private sandy beach and offers easy access to hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, etc. Note that this is a family-owned cabin that does NOT include modern amenities. Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all communities.

The Hideaway Cabin

Welcome to the Hideaway Cabin, where you can unwind in the embrace of nature. Here, you can sizzle your favorites on the grill, lounge in the Adirondack chairs on the balcony, or simply relax indoors. Come evening, gather by the firepit on the porch to watch the fireflies dance or relax in the hot tub on the back porch. It's the ideal blend of natural serenity and homely comfort. In the winter, cozy up by the woodstove in the living room and catch up on your favorite TV shows.

The Owl's Nest- close to SLU

Welcome to our peaceful and centrally-located home. Our rental is a 5-minute walk to SLU's campus. Located on a quiet street with plenty of parking. This rental is hosted by Kelley and friend Laura. We are happy to share our favorite restaurants and places to visit in our beautiful town. Let us know if you need anything at all! All renters are welcome to visit the famous, HOOT OWL for a complimentary drink on us! Arrival and departure times are flexible if available.

There are only 3 cabins on the property, rent the 2 and bring the whole family or just rent 1 and still feel like your secluded. We stay in the 3rd cabin for the season.
