Lovely cosy place to stay in the heart of Dorset

Oak Tree Barn is a self-catering holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Hazelbury Bryan, Dorset. The conversion was completed in early 2012 using locally reclaimed materials and keeping many of the original features. The Barn is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer, the detached Barn has a large open-plan lounge and kitchen with views towards the local hills. The two bedrooms (one double with bath, one twin with shower) overlook paddocks where sheep graze and chicken forage.

The Cochrane Wing was lovingly refurbished in 2022. The rooms are beautifully appointed, each one with its own character. With 4 ensuite bedrooms, modern kitchen dining room and sitting room. Athelhampton is a Tudor Manor, open to the public, however the Cochrane Wing is private throughout your stay. A courtyard provides an area for alfresco eating. The property is quietly on the outskirts of the village of Hazelbury Bryan and is within a 45 minute drive to the Dorset Coast. The market towns of Sherborne, Blandford Forum and Dorchester are all within 20 minutes drive.

Dewlish is in the heart of Dorset and has beautiful countryside walks, views and a lovely local country pub just a short walk from Greenways, also a great base for getting to the Jurassic Coast and all of Dorset's Wonderful Attractions. Greenways is in a small cul-de-sac on the outer edge of this beautiful village.

No.3 is a self-contained property which was the extension of the original farm cottage built in 1907, now part of the hosts’ residence (number 4). It has it’s own separate access off a quiet unclassified road leading out of the village of Winterborne Whitechurch with off-road parking. The property has been adapted to provide all the comforts for a quiet enjoyable stay but public transport is infrequent so a car is recommended.
