Little House on the Pretty (LHP) is part of Sittin Pretty Farm. LHP is tucked into the woods giving a place to retreat and restore. The home is finely crafted embodying a simple elegance and character of the Driftless locale. Once inside, a sense of marvel and serenity are sure make heartfelt memories. We are six miles from Viroqua and nestled among Amish Paradise with several neighboring Amish farms. In season the Amish have roadside vegetable stands where you can purchase veggies and pie!

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Located at the end of a quiet, paved country road, The Garden Cottage is just six miles west of Viroqua, Wisconsin. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, all on one level, including a king-sized bed, nice kitchen, gas grill, large bathroom, walk-in tile shower, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, Roku, movies, good cell phone reception and high-speed fiber optic internet. All linens, soaps, coffee, tea, and kitchen utensils are provided. The songbirds and views are amazing.

This newly built cabin has all the modern comforts in a quiet relaxing setting. Sit on the patio and watch the wildlife and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Cabin includes large open kitchen and living room area with sliding glass doors to patio. The kitchen incudes full size refrigerator, stove and microwave. The cabin has separate bed room with Queen Bed and pull out sofa sleeper in living room and full bath. Includes Wi-Fi, AC, Smart TV, DVD Player, Gas Grill, Fire Pit and is pet friendly.

Timber Creek Retreat

Get away for a restful stay at this scenic hidden gem of Vernon County. Timber Coulee Creek, a Class 1 trout stream, ripples right through the backyard. You will enjoy watching deer and turkey as they amble through the property. Bald eagles soar overhead and fish jump in the stream. Listen to the gurgle of the water flowing over the rocks and the music of the birds. Try your hand at fly fishing. Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, watch the flames dance and the stars come out.

Vireo Cabin at Driftless Creek

Vireo – named for the warbling vireo that nested on the porch – is the most spacious and home-like cabin at Driftless Creek. Vireo is a private modern cabin in a wooded setting, with hiking trails on-site, close to Viroqua. Vireo features furnishings in aqua-blue, lime green, and shades of gray. Highlights of Vireo include ample seating around a wood stove, a piano, porches on 3 sides (one screened-in), and a fully equipped kitchen with seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. Vireo sleeps 7.

Our cabin is conveniently located 1.5 miles outside of Viroqua on a secluded township road, near premier trout fishing creeks and outdoor adventures. The cabin boasts a large wrap around deck. Perfect spot to relax with sounds of nature and views of the Valley. Inside this modern cabin is a loft with a king and 2 XL twins, main level bedroom with full bed and a full size sofa sleeper. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open concept dining/living room, large yard for activities and a usable two-car garage. ATV friendly roads, snowmobiling trails, and public hunting & fishing are all nearby. Enjoy the simple life in the country as long as you wish. Everyone is welcome!

Get a break from the hustle & bustle with us in a cabin with all modern amenities and a handcrafted charm we've worked to cultivate for you. This cabin is on our property where we reside, as well as rental property, with two tenants. All guests and well behaved dogs are welcome for an addition dog fee!
