This 90 year old cabin is rich in history with its rustic exterior and has been finished out with a modern design on the interior. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake and extremely easy to access via car, it is a five minute drive to the west gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!

Although the cabin is small, the 220sqft patio overlooking the river will not disappoint. Our intimate cabin offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, with the added luxury of a private hot tub. The space has been thoughtfully designed in order to maximize the square footage!

The Woodland A-Frame Retreat is a cozy, charming mountain getaway for couples and families, just 15 minutes from Winter Park Resort. Nestled on a private 1-acre lot among aspens and pines with Byer’s Peak views, it features an open living area with loft, granite countertops, stainless appliances, washer/dryer, and a cozy wood stove. Easy access to the free shuttle and nearby Idlewild Trail system makes it perfect for winter and summer adventures.
