The perfect base for a country stroll, bike ride or lunch on the High St with pubs & independent cafes 2 mins away Manningtree, England’s smallest town is nestled within an AONB and was voted Sunday Times ‘Best Place to Live’ 2019 *Please note* - my home is right next to The Crown pub so there is some noise. My lodgers and I live just upstairs and share the garden. If you’re after a ‘middle of nowhere’ escape, this may not be it

Countryside retreat with Hot tub

We are adults only with exclusive hot tub. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Fox was designed to reflect the Dark academia aesthetic. Comfortable quality furnishings, rich dark colours with a wood burner. Large private garden area with quality Hot tub and fire-pit/bbq. The Fox is set within our small holding. 1 of our 2 transformed mobile homes. 2 min drive to the local pub/shop. Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

You can enjoy an evening firepit or breakfast on the patio.

Log Cabin getaway with hot tub and fire pit! Come and stay in a countryside log cabin, with your own private hot tub and fire pit. Inside is heated by a cosy log burner for an authentic feel too. Perfect location for countryside walks, but also close enough to walk into the local town. Woodbine Cottage

Whether you’re get up and go types or would rather relax than rush, you’ll find Mersea has something to suit everyone’s taste and pace. Just take a short stroll from the cottage and you’ll discover a delightful esplanade and beach, two rather nice pubs, cafe’s, a yacht club and the famous seafood eateries. You’ll hear the bells ringing out from the sailing boats and see kids enthusiastically crabbing from the jetty. We fell head over heels in love with Mersea and hope you will too.

The Hayloft is a light, spacious, open-plan, self catering unit for two. A romantic countryside retreat within part of Deepwell Barn, a converted grade II listed thatched building. Lovely walks, bike rides and pubs nearby. Close to Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and picturesque local villages. As well as a private enclosed garden, guests have use of the larger garden, with fire pit, hammock and BBQ, a lovely setting in which to unwind and enjoy the countryside.
