There is exceptional mountain biking as close as 8 miles from the house. Zip lines and other attractions near by.

Lake Hickory is a short 15-minute drive. There are plenty of boat and Stand Up Paddleboard rentals for water enthusiasts and miles of water to boat, ski and fish on.
