Peaceful & scenic, this charming guesthouse is tucked away on our family estate & farm. This lower level features a queen bed, full kitchen, full bathroom, pull out sofa, washing machine & dryer. Good wifi. Located 5 min from quaint Milton with local restaurants, general store, & beer garden. Hyco Lake is 10 min. VIR 4 miles away. We have friendly dogs on the premise, which I can put up on request. We have a long-term quiet guest in the upper apt. Neighborhood road is gravel. Driveway is paved.

Hyco Lake is an 11 minute drive. This makes us perfectly situated between two popular vacation spots. We are about 12 minutes from Milton and 20 minutes from Yanceyville and Roxboro where you can find shopping and restaurants. **Please note this is a very rural home. We do not do long term renters.

Want to get away? Fortress of Solitude is a modernist house on 30 acres. Relax on the porches listening to birdsong. The fortress was built in 2007 as a vacation home. Passive solar design features include concrete walls and many windows. The style of the fortress is a call back to old NC tobacco barns. Surrounded by forest with no neighbors in sight, this home has excellent privacy and a half mile long driveway. Gratitude to all guests who stayed during our 1st year!

Backwoods Family Getaway! 3 Bedroom house!

Originally an amish family house back in year 1995, that was remodeled and renovated to give that modern look. We are located 6 miles away from the local town nearby groceries, restaurants and fast food. You will not miss our house, as we are the last house by the end of the road, we have a half a mile gravel driveway from the stop sign, just come through the stop sign and you will see the property. This is 11 acres property near the woods, with different wildlife sightings.

Cozy Hyco Lake Cottage

This is a quiet secluded Hyco Lake cottage located on the south end of the lake without a lot of boat traffic. It's a one bedroom, one bath cottage that opens to a front deck overlooking the lake. You may also use the screened-in porch and lower concrete patio of the main house during your stay. Due to the water being shallower on this end of the lake only fishing boats are allowed at the dock. We have two kayaks with paddles and life jackets available for your use.
