The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. A small herd of Highland cows live here. A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

It’s not a maintained trail so it can be overgrown and rocks on path can make it hard for littles. Close to waterfalls and hiking trails and an old homestead built of hand hewn logs. Center point trail, Compton trailhead, hideout hollow and more! Ponca is close and highway 43 where you can watch Elk!

Located 5 miles down a county maintained gravel road, this quaint oasis is at the end of a graveled drive that meanders amongst tall oaks that grace the landscape. The incredible views of the mountains seem straight from a Rockwell painting. If you are looking for privacy and tranquility, the Ozark Overlook is your destination.

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Lost Valley and beyond, the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind!
