A family place to get away & connect - a dam to swim, tennis court, basketball hoop and a fruit salad orchard with of seasonal fruits, veges, berries & herbs free to pick. Its a place for kids or furbabies to roam free, enjoying the cubby house, trampoline, tree house, riding bikes, go carting or playing in the forest. Takumuna is a 10 acre fully fenced property, with beautiful surrounding bushland, a safe place for kids and completely secure for your dog (or even horses).

There are two king beds or a king and two singles - please specify your preference on booking, a bathroom and separate powder room. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Relax at home or explore the surrounding wineries, local pub, towns of the Blackwood River Valley region, bike tracks and hiking trails. Donnybrook is just 17km north for all your supplies.

Take an morning /evening stroll around the orchard and vegie patch and visit the ponies and horses.
