Tranquil hideaway - escape to the rainforest

Welcome to Steep Creek Retreat, a peaceful oasis. You'll be treated to a warm and comfortable 3 bedroom house nestled in the rainforest, with views of Belgrave Lake Park, trees and ferns, possums, birds and the most wonderful forest sights and sounds. Feed rainbow lorikeets on the verandah, sit by the fire, relax in the bath, scramble down to the park and Monbulk Creek walks, or stroll to Puffing Billy or Belgrave's bands, bars and night life. When you're here, it feels like another world.

Spacious garden apartment

Our spacious 2-bedroom, self-contained guest suite, located directly behind our house, is a "home away from home." You will have your own private entrance, with a path leading up the side of the house to your front sliding door. The off-street parking is very convenient, and you will find all the comforts you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Knox. This guest suite, with blinds in every room, is in a quiet residential area and parties and gatherings are not permitted.

Studio in the foothills

This peaceful studio is 5 mins from Dandenong Ranges National Park and has all you need to make your short stay as comfortable as can be. With simple cooking facilities if you decide you want to stay in , or a plethora of restaurants in the area you will be spoilt for choice. 2 mins walk and you will be amongst towering tree ferns on Griffiths creek or 5 mins drive at a shopping complex in Boronia. The studio attached to the main house has its own private entrance.

This cozy cottage offers breathtaking views of the Dandenong Ranges and the lush Yarra Valley. Forest Road Retreat

Nestled at the base of Mount Dandenong, this peaceful bungalow is the perfect place to stay whilst exploring the Dandenong Ranges or Yarra Valley. Walking distance (15mins) from Boronia or Ferntree gully and less than an hour drive from the CBD, this stay is close to all necessities while enjoying the tranquillity of the one acre garden with firepits or BBQ facilities to use. Pet and family friendly, the bungalow is a great place for two nights or many.

Dingleigh of Sassafras - Reader's Cottage

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies. Our cottage set in natural bush has the benefit of shops and public transport a 10-15 minute walk away. Enjoy a drink on the deck in the warm light of the evening, take a leisurely walk along the Yarra River to see the kangaroos in their natural setting or an easy drive to the famous Yarra Valley wineries.
