Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

The inside of Foggy Rest welcomes you into an open living room/dinning/kitchen with gas fireplace. The primary bedroom has a California king, 2nd room has a queen, and the 3rd room has bunk beds. Enjoy this 750 sq ft peaceful mountain getaway! It is about 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway which is known for its scenery and mountain overlooks. It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Year round hot tub!
