The Australian Bracken Fern (Pteridium esculentum), an edible bush food endemic to Australia and New Zealand, lends Bracken Cottage its name. Bracken Cottage is a two-bedroom mud-brick cottage on Rock Lily's 100-acre bush block. Views are to the north and NW over the eucalypt forest that covers most of the property. It is suitable for a family or group wanting a base for rural adventure or a spot to gather and escape the city on a sustainably-managed property and has a dog-friendly fenced yard.

The Rainforest Cabin is relaxing haven nestled in nature on our farm. It is one of a pair of cabins, each private and with their own character. Your own home close to all the delights of the far south coast. The cabin has a deck overlooking the chain of ponds leading to the Lily Pond dam below. There is a private kitchenette and the shared Sunny Kitchen cabin. Its a lovely artistic space to relax and rewind and enjoy the landscaped gardens. The handmade crockery is made in my farm studio.

Find peace & tranquility in this sweet & stylish space with views of a lake, forest & farmland. Experience solitude & privacy with only a small distant cottage in sight. Swim in the river, see the stars at night, Roos at dusk & dawn and a few cows. It is off-grid with solar power and water must be carted in. For the hot days there is an air cooler ( no Aircon), it always cools down at night. No heater inside but it is never too cold in winter. Firewood provided. Cooking on bbq outside! 😊

The Cottage - Bermagui

On arrival you will be greeted with a beautiful breakfast basket. We are nestled in the bush alongside the Salty Lagoon Nature Reserve - plenty of bird life and the odd wallaby. We are close to the Bermagui River and also the beach. We are within walking distance to the shops and cafes. Our cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Due to limited parking, this space is not suitable for boats and trailers.

The cottage offers plenty of room for the family with an open plan living, dining and lounge areas with a cosy combustion wood fire and ceiling fans. Enjoy sitting on the private deck area taking in the serenity, enjoying the local bird life or relaxing around the fire pit.

Nestled in a spotted gum & burrawang forest (6 acres with river frontage to the Bermagui River) & roughly 10 minutes out of town & beaches (3.5 km on an unsealed road), Moonrise on the River caters for people looking for a private bush retreat who enjoy waking to glorious sunrises, the dawn chorus of birdsong, sunsets, moonrises, the waves breaking from the surrounding beaches, bird watching, kayaking, bush walking & more.

Lily's

Lily's is located on five hectares of Spotted Gum forest seven minutes from town, beautiful beaches and the river. It is private, self contained, in a peaceful bush setting. Change pace; enjoy a drive along 3.5 kms. of well maintained unsealed road. Watch out for Lyrebirds, and other native fauna. Provided is a breakfast basket, with sourdough bread, honey, homemade mueseli, and granola, local milk and yoghurt.

Oceanview is a brand-new house with stunning views overlooking Carters Beach, Bar Beach and Montague Island. Enjoy watching whales swim by from every room. The beach or world famous Narooma - Dalmeny cycleway is only a two minute drive down the hill. Take a walk or cycle your way along the spectacular ocean foreshore.
