The Stables

The original stable to historic 160 year old Telegraph House has been renovated to a self contained one bedroom guesthouse with new en-suite , living area and well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cooktop and coffee machine. The living area has a wood burner fireplace, table and chairs, sofa, television, internet (NBN) and French doors opening onto verandah. The property has a secure yard and stall for a horse - $20 per night - and plenty of secure off street parking for a rig.

The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. The Old School of Gundy was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The Weather Shed is the children's playground shelter, beautifully converted into luxury guest accommodation.
