Walk 1/5 of a mile to Old Town, where you may visit The Port of Siuslaw, many well known restaurants, art galleries and shops. Hwy 101 is a couple blocks away where our famous Pono Hukilau Restaurant is located. Walk a wee bit further to Exploding Whale Park and enjoy sitting on the river’s beach for a picnic or take a short drive to Heceta Beach for the day.

(Beach stairs closed and under repair with no known completion date due to significant engineering issues). Beach access within 1/2 mile south and north. Beach stair access will hopefully be restored soon as the contractor has finally provided a plan.

Wander our woods and forage for mushrooms and berries in season. We are away from city lights so it’s a great spot for stargazing and observing wildlife. Fresh eggs from our hens and produce from our garden available seasonally. Quiet, but minutes from town. Sleeps 2. No pets, please.
