Thomas Bains Cottage, rustic farmhouse views

Rustic old farmhouse, amazing views and lovely porch. The house was build by Thomas Bain in 1862 while he was building the Prince Alfreds Pass and have original yellow wood floors and ceilings which we are still busy restoration. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place . Enjoy the country side. Hiking trails available. Relax and find yourself again. Be part of our story of the Restoration of Thomas Bains Mansion. Forest Glamping

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Large safari style tents situated on a raised deck with views of the forest. The tent has two single beds, chairs, power points and a deck for you to lounge on. You have access to 3 choices of bathrooms, some with outdoor showers and another with a bathtub boasting forest views. Use our clean and well equipped communal kitchen as well as braai areas, a bar, a plunge pool/hot tub, plus some beautiful walks into the forests and rivers.

Off grid cabin for 2 in the Langkloof

A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
