This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Riverside Studio

Welcome to the Riverside Studio from where a short stroll takes you to the Town Basin marina with cafes, shops and restaurants and the Hundertwasser art center and park. Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Some breakfast essentials such as milk, spreads, muesli, various teas & coffee facilities as a starter only. Freeview TV and Netflixs. Off street parking for one vehicle.

Renovated with unique touches, our 1 bedroom Studio space is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. A 15-20min walk along the Hatea Loop gets you to the Town Basin, home to newly opened Hündertwasser Museum, Wairau Māori Art Gallery, waterfront dining, and centre of town shopping. Best for 1-2 guests, but can snugly accommodate up to 4. Onsite carpark next to the self check-in studio apartment, fully detached & separate from the main house dwelling.

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by. Enjoy the fresh, modern interior with free Wi-Fi, smart TV, a laptop friendly space and a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee machine. Our self contained apartment is a leisurely 10 minute walk into the city town basin centre including the fabulous Hundertwasser museum. and right on the doorstep of lovely bush and river walks. This is a great place to explore Whangarei from or very handy if you are visiting for work. There is off street parking for your car and private access down 9 external stairs to the spacious unit. There is free unlimited WIFI .
