The Illinois river, in Tahlequah, offers year round respite and fun for people of all walks of life. Watch floaters pass by on gravel beach and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the fall and winter months. Unplug and retreat in the sounds of nature. This property is a uniquely authentic experience.

Bigfoot Inn -cabin with loft -near Illinois River

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

Modern, brand new a-frame cabin on the river. Overlooks the peaceful Illinois river. Watch the floaters go by from the comfort of your deck. The cabin is luxurious with all the modern amenities, hot tub professionally maintained, fast wifi and Roku TV. This is the perfect place to sneak away with a loved one for a long weekend on the river. By day you watch the constant stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks.

Come and enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay at the foothills of the Ozarks. Bring Your Own Float Devices and enjoy floating down to Todd Landing public access point, which is about an hour long adventure. Relax on the deck while enjoying the local wildlife! Bald eagles and deer frequent the area.

However, if your wanting to just get away you’ll enjoy the fire pit with s’more fixins, the outdoor eating area with grill and the peacefulness of the location where you can see wildlife daily.

Buffalo Cabin at The River Bluff Cabins has a breathtaking view of the Illinois River and also access to the water. The River Trail takes you about 1/3 of a mile down a scenic path to the river. The secluded, gated property is well kept and the cabin is cute, comfy, and clean. It’s 6 miles to Tahlequah and 4.6 miles to All American floats. Bring your family and friends and make unforgettable memories! The property also has another 8 person cabin, 4 glamping sites, and 6 RV sites.

Sitting approximately 1/2 mile from the banks of the river on 400+ acres of private property, this beautiful property is perfect for hiking, fishing, viewing wildlife, or just relaxing around the outdoor firepit. Reconnect with nature, and hike or drive down through our property to access the river or fish from our nearby ponds.

Perched atop Sparrowhawk Mountain, this cozy cabin is tucked back in the woods off scenic Highway 10. Peaceful and private, yet just minutes from the legendary Illinois River, each stay includes a day pass to Sparrowhawk Camp’s private beach. The cabin features cozy bedrooms with Sleepy’s mattresses by Sealy, a full kitchen, a cozy living room with TV and FanDuel access for OKC Thunder games, plus a private patio and firepit for relaxing evenings.
