Black Dog Knotty Pine Loft

The Knotty Pine Loft is the upper level (700 sf) of our garage/guest building. Up a flight of stairs you'll find a pine paneled kitchen & living room, private bedroom, and 3/4 bath. Loft windows overlook the pine-oak woods, a tamarack marsh, and 300 yds away is Spooner Lake . Note: The Knotty Pine Loft was named the Lakeview Loft, but after a windstorm downed a number of big trees, new birch and red oak treeshave grown up and lessened the view of the lake. The view returns in the winter!

Trego Lake Gem

Our lake home is located on a dead-end street and is a spacious chalet style (2400 sq ft) home with a walk-out lower level. The property is 3.5 acres with 275' of lake frontage on Trego Lake that is fed by the Namekagon River. For boats or kayaks we have 2 docks on the that are free to use. The waterfront is great for swimming and hanging out by the lake, with a lakeside firepit. There are miles of ATV and snowmobile trails in the Trego area, with many restaurants, and golf courses.

The snow has arrived!! Come and play on the local ski and snowmobile trails and then cozy up by the fireplace! Stay at the Trego River House to enjoy floating, fishing, and swimming in the crystal clear Namekagon River and Trego Lake, hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. Eat delicious meals at the variety of supper clubs and restaurants that Washburn county has to offer. There are many unique boutiques and antique stores for shopping. We love the area and know you will too!
