Gorgeous riverside cottage on Folly Island, in Hertford town centre on the river. Sleeps up to 6 (1 x king, 1 x double, 1 double sofa bed). Walk to bars, restaurants, shops, and the train station. Paid parking in local car park 200 yard away ( 3 min walk). Central, tranquil, characterful, and dog-friendly by arrangement.

The property itself is a charming detached 2-bedroom bungalow with front and back gardens. We can comfortably accommodate 6 guests (as there is a sofa bed in the lounge). The property is nestled on a lovely street in a rural village called Cuffley in Hertfordshire. There are some impressive restaurants and cafes in Cuffley itself within a few minutes’ walk and a pub, the Plough, at the top of the road running behind the property. If, however, London is more your style, it is only 30mins away.

The 1st-floor landing is shared with one lodger who lives above and is mostly away. I live downstairs with my daughter and we never go upstairs while hosting, so your privacy is respected. Please note: fits up to 4 guests; if only 1 guest is booked, bedroom 1 will be locked.
