"De Gulle pracht" Vakantiehuisje, Friesland

Ons sfeervolle vakantiehuisje was oorspronkelijk een oude stal die wij (Caroline en Jan) samen, vol liefde en eerbied voor de oude details en materialen, hebben omgebouwd tot deze "Gulle Pracht". Via een eigen oprit met parkeergelegenheid kom je bij het terras met de ruime tuin, een grasveld met omringende hoge bomen, waar het heerlijk toeven is. Door de twee openslaande deuren stap je binnen in de lichte en gezellige woonkamer met de witte oude balken en een volledig uitgeruste open keuken. Er is draadloos internet, TV en DVD aanwezig. Door het verwijderde plafond in de woonkamer valt er mooi licht vanuit de dakramen naar binnen en heb je zicht op de dakconstructie met de oude ronde juffertjes. Bovenop de twee vides zijn de bedden te vinden. Het comfortabele tweepersoonsbed is bereikbaar via een open trap. De andere vide, waar eventueel een derde of vierde bed te realiseren is, is alleen bereikbaar door lenige gasten via een ladder. Voor kleine kinderen is het daar ivm valgevaar niet geschikt, grotere kinderen vinden het daar juist wel spannend slapen. Let wel op, de twee vides delen dezelfde grote open ruimte. Onder de oude balken is het heerlijk rustig slapen, waar alleen het geluid van ruisende bomen, fluitende vogeltjes of je heerlijk snurkende bedgenoot te horen zal zijn. De ruimte wordt CV verwarmd, maar ook alleen de houtkachel kan het huisje behaaglijk verwarmen. Je krijgt van ons voldoende hout tot je beschikking om een knus vuurtje te stoken. Via een oude staldeur in de woonkamer kom je in de badkamer met balkenplafond en vloerverwarming. De badkamer is voorzien van een goede douche, dubbele wasbak en toilet. Met zijn ingelegde mozaieken en allerlei grappige en oude details is ook deze ruimte een lust voor het oog. Er zijn twee fietsen aanwezig voor mooie tochtjes in de wijde omgeving (Harlingen, Franeker Bolsward). Eventueel willen we je, voor een overtocht naar Terschelling, in Harlingen afzetten. De auto kun je dan een poosje op ons erf laten staan. Wij wonen zelf in de boerderij die op hetzelfde erf staat. Wij zijn bereikbaar voor hulp, informatie en adviezen voor leuke uitstapjes in ons mooie Friesland. Jouw vakantiehuisje en onze woonboerderij zijn gescheiden door onze tuin en de grote oude schuur (met pooltafel), we hebben dus allebei onze eigen ruimte en privacy. Kimswerd , gelegen aan de elfstedenroute is een klein, rustig en mooi dorpje waar onze Friese held " de Grutte Pier" geboren is en geleefd heeft. Hij waakt nog steeds over ons, in versteende vorm, aan het begin van ons straatje, naast de eeuwenoude Kerk, die zeer zeker ook het bezichtigen waard is. Boodschappen doe je in de Harlingen, de supermarkt is een kwartiertje fietsen. De oude haven van Harlingen is 10 km van ons huisje verwijderd. Kimswerd ligt vlak over de afsluitdijk. Volg vandaar uit de borden N31 Harlingen/ Leeuwarden/Zurich en neem de eerste afslag Kimswerd, op de rotonde 1ste rechts, op volgende rotonde weer 1ste rechts, bij de kruising rechtdoor over de brug en direkt eerste straatje links (Jan Timmerstraat). Aan het begin van deze straat, naast de kerk, staat het standbeeld van de Grutte Pier. Wij wonen in de boerderij achter de kerk, Jan timmerstraat 6, eerste brede grindpad rechts. -Voor kleine kinderen is het slapen op de vide zonder hekje niet geschikt ivm valgevaar. Voor grote kinderen is het juist wel leuk, de vide is met een ladder bereikbaar. Let wel, het is boven 1 grote open ruimte zonder privacy.

Studio Huis Roomolen is located at Roomolenstraat in the center of Amsterdam, a little street beween canals, yet; in the middle of things. Three large windows give a nice view over the Roomolenstraat. The size of the luxurious studio is 26m² including private kitchen, shower and toilet. Private roof terrace of 10m² at the backside enclosed by the neighbor buildings. The place is very warm and personal, perfectly suited for a single traveler or couple to retreat as well as to discover Amsterdam.
