Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Completely separate and private guest suite walking distance to downtown Winslow (1/2 block), the ferry (.6 miles), the harbor and the 8.5 acre Moritani Preserve (1 block) away Easy access via a code. I am always available for questions.. I live in the main house in the front but you will have complete privacy. It's a very safe area and people are warm and friendly. Check out the farmers' market on Saturdays at Bainbridge Performing Arts. You have space to park one car in the carport.

Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

Full garden views, bright and modern secluded "guest house" 5 minutes off the highway and 10 minutes from the ferry in western Bremerton. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.

This unique space, just a block away from Puget Sound, provides the feel of woodsy seclusion with convenient access to Des Moines Marina, Normandy Beach Park, and SeaTac airport. Watch your head! The angled ceiling upstairs is low, but even our tallest guests can enjoy the coziness of the loft bedroom. Centrally located between Seattle and Tacoma (25 minutes each), with Angle Lake Light Rail train station near by, for low cost travel to Seattle’s downtown attractions.

You'll love the private patio entry, the dedicated driveway parking spot, and all the yummy takeout options at Burien's great restaurants! A washer/dryer, kitchenette, and big bathroom provide everything you need for a longer stay. Side bonus: The Garage is powered by solar panels.
