The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Our place is perfect for two adults (no children, sorry) to get away. We are pet friendly with certain limitations, however (read House Rules below). Our off-the-grid log cabin is great for a private, romantic weekend, a contemplative retreat or base camp for adventures around Hood Canal and the Olympic Peninsula. There are good restaurants nearby with indoor and outdoor dining and take out service. We have a stunning view of Hood Canal and the Olympic mountains right from your deck.

The Tiny House Farmstay at The Chittle Homestead

Our 6 acre homestead is located just outside of the historic fishing village of Gig Harbor WA & a 1 hr drive or ferry to Seattle. We are 10 min from state parks, hikes, beaches, restaurants, water sport rentals, kid fun, & antique stores. You will be staying in a stylish TINY house (300 sqft) w/loft & private downstairs bedroom. Fresh produce, gardens, farm animals, & a homesteading family happy to introduce you to the animals and share their homesteading knowledge with you.

Come and enjoy our beautiful country home! The fresh air, forest, and slow pace will help you to relax. You will be lulled to sleep by the croaking frogs and awakened to the song of birds. You will have the entire ground floor of our 3 story home with your own private entrance, facing the ponds and forest. Spencer Lake, Phillips Lake, and Harstine Island boat launches are all within 10 minutes. We have 2 large ponds and a year round creek for you to meander and explore.

Tranquility in the woods; Bear Ridge Tipi

This is 20ft Cheyenne Tipi with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut is located in Lakebay, WA. Views across Puget Sound & Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard and bald eagles soaring above. This is glamping at its finest. When you wake in the morning, for heat you have central heating from a real furnace. Lying in bed you can control lights, Smart TV, and even the google hub. We can add a 4 people tent as well as a ‘pak ‘n play for infants upon request.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabin

The Fox Den is a stand-alone cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood on Fox Island. It's a 1-minute drive, or 10 minute walk to the public beach (Fox Island Sand Spit) *Update* The Fox Island Sandspit Park, will be closed for maintenance on September 22, 2025 and reopen by December 1, 2025. The Fox Island Fishing Pier is still open. (12-minute drive from the Fox Den) Dogs: Up to 1 well behaved dog, is allowed with extra pet fee of $25 per stay. (No Cats Please)
