Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

The Mt Nimrod Pod campsite overlooks native bush and iconic NZ farmland, with views to the mountains. Sink into a steaming wood-fired hot tub under an abundance of stars. Toast marshmallows over the crackling fire. Wake to the morning chorus of birdsong. Stop - relax - revive! The campsite has 3 pod cabins (bedroom, lounge and half bath). The pods are insulated and double glazed. The campsite is complete with outdoor kitchen, wood-fired river fed hot tub and a fire pit for up to two guests.

We offer a flexible cancellation policy especially during lockdown. The house is situated on the quiet western side of town with breath taking views of the Ben Ohau ranges and surrounding mountains. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Set on 2 acres overlooking a private pond towards snow covered peaks, it’s also a stone's throw to the town square and shops, restaurants and cafes. Our home is situated in an exclusive position directly on the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, and is a perfect base for exploring Mount Cook National Park
