The cabin is on 116 acres of spectacular land, lies along the banks of the Rio Ojo Caliente and is surrounded by cottonwoods. It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

Cabin 4 is a rustic studio unit with a combination of dark wood and light blue adobe interior walls. It has a fully outfitted kitchen space with microwave, short fridge and a 4 burner gas stove. There is a kiva fireplace, a full size bed, 3/4 bath, table for two and a fold out sleeper loveseat that can sleep 1 or 2 more. It also has a two door entrance with foyer closet in between to keep your outdoor gear and it has gas as well as electric heat.

Estrella sanctuary- a Ojo Caliente retreat cabin

This solid wood cabin is tucked away in a large valley with tons of privacy. It’s been recently renovated and upgraded. The cabin has rustic charm with all the updated amenities one could desire. Perfect for a family vacation or for wondering souls hoping to find a place to decompress from life. *Ojo caliente spa IS accepting walk in’s for soaking and I was told it’s rarely at capacity so if you are hoping to soak it’s almost assured to happen :)
