Located in the friendly village of Brockholes near Holmfirth, accessible by train, it's perfect families and friends looking for a base for a short break. It's also a great base for working. Recently renovated, you'll find it attractive, cosy and well-equipped. The cottage sits across a cobbled courtyard from our house so we're here to help. Chimney Cottage offers the ideal tranquil dog friendly accommodation for those seeking to explore the truly breath-taking landscapes of the Holme Valley, or the delights of the Peak District. Less than two miles away is the stunning market town of Holmfirth, recently featured on Channel 5's Yorkshire Great & Small and commonly known for the TV series, The Last of the Summer Wine. There you will find independent shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a live music venue, the Picturedrome.

Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.
