Blue Quail Bunkhouse

This awesome little house is just 10 minutes from most of Amarillo. This house is very clean and freshly remodeled. Our guests all agree this is such a relaxing place to stay. The house itself is a small efficiency, 1 room with everything you'll need for your stay. Inside the house is very clean and comfortable but outside is my favorite part. Here you'll find some of the best front porch sittin' around and the sunsets are pretty awesome too! You'll have wide open spaces and plenty of privacy.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Full kitchen, walk-in shower, washer/dryer, cable TV, wifi, relaxing deck on the back, outside dining beside a peaceful Koi pond and waterfall. For those chilly evenings there is a fire pit for roasting hot dogs or toasting marshmallows or just relax in the Adirondack chairs on the patio. Sitting in the wicker rockers on the front porch you have a wonderful view of the farm pond and with any luck you will catch a glimpse of a deer or two.

A few houses from Midtown’s pickle ball courts, you’ll find the Ivy Cottage. Charm and character are the highlight of this adorable property. The oversized sectional is the perfect place to cozy up and watch your favorite show on the Smart TV. Or serve dinner in the dining room with French doors that open to the patio. In the back you’ll find a hot tub, smart TV, couch, dart board, wine fridge, cornhole, etc. Plush beds await when you’re ready to call it a night. *Fireplace is not working.

But, now I’ve moved on to my next project and I’m eager to share this cottage with my guests! The house gets beautiful light, has a very comfortable bed, and is ideal for single travelers and couples. Take a soak in the tub after a long day on the road and feel your cares melt away. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Enjoy the stars and nights around the fire pit. Taxes are less out here too - you don't have to pay the 4% city or 7% accommodation taxes when you book with us since we're outside city limits.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
