Stonecrop is a much loved cottage and enjoys a tranquil setting with a large, attractive garden, situated in a stunning part of Northumberland. Guests are welcome to wander through our adjoining field to reach the banks of the river South Tyne. It was built in 1760 and has retained its original character whilst benefiting from all mod cons. Many guests return year after year and dogs are welcome too. Stonecrop is within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall, the Yorkshire Dales, the Borders and Lakes.

A beautiful, cosy 18th century Farmhouse in the North Pennines AONB. Sleeping up to 20 guests, it's a great house for big family and friends get-togethers and celebrations. There's a large kitchen where everyone can eat together at one table and two living rooms to relax in. It's a great base for groups wanting to explore Cumbria, Northumberland and Durham. The house is surrounded by fields, fells and open countryside but just a short walk from Alston and its friendly pubs, cafes and shops.

An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. We offer a warm welcome to our house in which to feel at home and enjoy a break. A tall window allows light to flood into 2A. The lounge with dining area and sunny kitchen occupy one floor. Upstairs there is a king-size en-suite bedroom, a twin-bedded bedroom and a family shower room. On the upper floor is a beamed, double bedroom. We provide towels and cotton bed linen to give a luxury stay. The kitchen is well equipped. At the back is a patio, small garden and parking for one vehicle.
