Near the end of the road close to the south east side of Ullswater, escape from it all in this 17th Century cottage with river frontage. With 25 years of wonderful holidays there we hope we’ve thought of everything should the Cumbrian weather keep you indoors. There’s ping pong, a full-sized snooker table, darts, table football, countless games and the famous (at least in our household) Bridge End Beech Curling in the barn. In 2.5 acres of its own land, sometimes shared with sheep and red deer.

The fields surrounding the cottage are home to livestock; mainly sheep and free-range laying hens. We also keep ducks and geese, whose antics keep everybody amused, and pigs in summer, and bees.
