Best sandwiches I've had almost anywhere. I used to live down the street and still occasionally make the drive because it's worth it. Could make a few more stops while there to Fond Object record shop or Dose Coffee.

Drinks & Nightlife
Probably my favorite place in East Nashville. Good specials and shows even in the early week like Motown Monday and Two Dollar Tuesdays.

Bar and live music district in which I typically play my local shows. Closer to Music Row, a bit less crowded than Broadway and is often more of a local crowd, though these bars can be rocking on any given night. Plenty of restaurants around - Hattie B's, Soulshine Pizza, Chuy's, etc. good for strolling.

Essentials
It's three miles away and closes at 8pm, but it's the best grocery in my opinion and is a new location so it's fresh and clean.

Sightseeing
Because you may find yourself on Broadway at least once during your stay in Nashville, you might as well see the downtown district laid out in panoramic glory while above the Cumberland River. Some folks park across the river and make the hike across - I used to bike downtown via the riverside park and this bridge - but the hike back across to parking might not be so fun after going out late on Broadway.

Barbara Mandrell's former mansion - heard it was a good tour. The grounds surrounding this place house a restaurant, distillery, winery, and plenty of open space. Country and entertainment royalty have been here before to 'relax'. Also hosts the 'Back Porch' Live music series at their on site venue. Nearby and cool landscape.
